Health and Sanitation Volunteer Program in Nepal: Make a Difference with Your Medical Expertise
This health and sanitation program is focus in very rural setting area of Nepal where most of the villagers are poor, illiterate and unaware of health, hygiene and environment issues. The people have very low knowledge of sanitation in terms of hygienic food, washing clothes, taking bath and cleaning up home and surroundings. We therefore mobilize international volunteers mainly to work with locals, women’s group, youth club and children group to teach them about proper health and sanitation habits. The both above mentioned activities have not strict timetable about volunteering in community. However, the we organize almost 3 to 4 hours a day. Apart from that, we can provide extra service of teaching health and sanitation education opportunities at school’s student.
This program is a unique opportunity to aid local medical professionals in a country where healthcare is a significant concern, particularly in rural areas with a shortage of trained staff. Your presence can be transformative, making a substantial difference to the community’s well-being.
