After breakfast, we were with the children, it was toward end of classes and exams had begun, so we assisted teacher working through that week, and continued, devising plans to instruct andor entertain children.2, Please list any other things you did on your placement:
Plenty of time to travel about in Kathmandu and see all the beautiful temples of the land. Easy enough to get around with help of the “cho-choos and “In Drive” app scooters ( very excellent drivers).3, What are some of the issues or challenges you faced?
As mentioned, classes and exams were ending, so we picked up completing jobs at monastery and as small group, came up with lessons and ideas within Monastery to help and assist all.4, Do you have any advice for the next volunteer going to your placement?
Go with the flow. If lucky, we can find and create a working agenda with the children and staff to assist the entire monastery, which is much appreciated! Things are not always as planned, (school on break) all the help needed will become obvious. This is working with the situation.5, Would you volunteer at this placement again?
